Putrajaya 'Solat Jumaat' with guns

At the Putrajaya Mosque recently after the 'Solat Jumaat' half of the people there continue to perform 'Solat Hajat' inconjunction with the National Youth Program. It was then when a group of photo-snipers noticed amongst the people who performed the prayers were carrying guns… I mean real guns. Why in the world would anyone carry a gun (or guns) to pray, this is not Palestine for god sake.

Take a look at the picture below, can you see those guys with their guns bulging from their suits? They are not wearing police uniform and we were very certain that they were not escorting any VIPs because VIPs will pray at the front row and this is too far behind to be true.

But wait…

When they got up from the last position (sujud) than only we realized a prominent person was there in front of the 'cowboys'… It was Najib Tun Razak!

He is so VVIP and yet he chooses to pray with the people, amongst them and not treat himself different from the people around him. Look at the person on his right, smiling happily to get the chance to pray alongside the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

They were chatting about something and Najib seemed very friendly and did not rush to get up or anything, just small talks, casual and relax.

This is what we want, the quality inside them… the leaders. Even we do know they cannot at all times engage in public for security measures but this once in a while small talk in a relax fashion is highly appreciated by the people. This small talk between Najib and the person next to him may not look as important to some, but to others, to the person's family and friends and friends among them will continue to speak of Najib's friendly gesture and this is what they want.

A leader with the heart of the people.
